The grievance of the petitioner is that she is not being issued a new pattadar pass book in terms of the Government's policy despite her representation dated 22.5.2019.

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner was already issued a regular pattadar pass book under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, (for brevity 'the Act of 1971') in relation to her land holding in Indriyala Village, Shivareddygudem Gram Panchayat, Boodan Pochampally Mandal, Yadadribhongir District. She sought issuance of a new pattadar pass book to enable her to avail the benefits of the Government's policy by way of a representation dated 22.5.2019. It is her complaint that no action has been taken thereupon. It is not open to the Tahsildar, Pochampally Mandal, Yadadribhongir District, to remain unmoved as the valuable property rights of the petitioner would be at stake.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Pochampally Mandal, Yadadribhongir District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's representation dated 22.5.2019, expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
