THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.757 OF 2019

O R D E R

This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the interim order dated 04.06.2019 passed in I.A.No.1 of 2019 in W.P.No.10765 of 2019. By the said order, this Court granted interim suspension of the Memo dated 23.03.2018 of the Tahsildar, Chevella Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, and all consequential entries in the RoR, including the online entries, pending disposal of the writ petition. The allegation made by the petitioner presently is that no steps are being taken to restore the original entries existing in the revenue records prior to issuance of the Memo dated 23.03.2018. However, it may be noted that there was no such direction in the interim order and what was sought and granted was only a suspension of the Memo dated 23.03.2018 and all consequential entries in the RoR. Without specifically asking for restoration of the entries that existed prior to issuance of the said Memo, it is not open to the petitioner to read something into the order that is not there.

The contempt case is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to seek appropriate relief in the pending writ petition, if so advised. No order as to costs.
