Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and Sri P Keshav Rao, learned standing counsel for GHMC and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2. This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in not passing any orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.2.2013 for release of pending bills to the tune of Rs.30 lakhs towards execution of walling work of 192 houses at Bowranpet under JNNURM Housing scheme, as illegal.

3. Petitioner claims to be a civil contractor and pursuant to allotment of work entrusted vide agreement dated 15.7.2008 has completed part work of 192 houses at Bowranpet under JNNURM Housing scheme to the satisfaction of the officials and submitted bills and respondents released part payment withholding Rs.30 lakhs without any reason. Petitioner stated to have submitted number of representations, last being dated 15.2.2013 for release of Rs.30 lakhs towards pending bills. Since, no further action is taken in the matter, petitioner instituted the present writ petition.

4. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel on either side agreed for disposal of the writ petition at the admission stage with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner expeditiously.

5. Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.2.2013 and pass appropriate orders as warranted under law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
