Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not entering the name of the petitioner in the revenue records and not issuing pattadar pass book and title deed in his favour in respect of land admeasuring Ac.1.20 guntas in Survey No.26/13 situated at Chirumarthy Revenue Village, Madugulapally Mandal, Nalgonda District, as illegal and arbitrary.
It is stated that the petitioner purchased the land in question from Sri Karanam Srinivas, through a registered sale deed, dated 12.01.2015. Thereafter, he filed an application under Section 6-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, before the fourth respondent - Tahsildar, Madugulapally Mandal, on 24.06.2016, for mutation of his name in the revenue records and issuance of pattadar pass book and title deed in his favour, and the same is pending. In view of pendency of application filed by the petitioner before the fourth respondent, without going into the merits of the
ARR, J W.P.No.4212 of 2017 case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 24.06.2016 in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs. __________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 7th FEBRUARY, 2017.
