This writ petition is filed seeking declaration of the action of respondent in not issuing orders of appointment to the petitioners as Junior Line Men pursuant to the selection test conducted vide notifications dated 08.06.2006 and 20.10.2006, as arbitrary and illegal and sought for consequential direction. 2.

By order dated 31.12.2009 made in WPMP.No.37835 of 2009, the Court directed the respondent to consider the case of the petitioners in terms of the judgment in W.A.No.1434 of 2008 and batch, dated 10.11.2009 and to pass appropriate orders. 3.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners inform the Court that on 17.06.2010, orders were passed rejecting the case of the petitioners. 4.

In view of the rejection order, dated 17.06.2010, which is not challenged in this writ petition, cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioners to avail appropriate remedies, against the rejection order dated 17.06.2010, if so advised.
