CVNR,J & GSP,J W.P.No.3190 of 2004 ORDER : (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

".....to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in fixing the upper age limit of 35 years as on 1.7.2002 for direct recruitment to the post of Agricultural Officers in terms of notification dated 12.9.2002 as illegal, unjust, arbitrary, discriminatory, thereby violative of Articles 14,16 and 21 of the Constitution of India, apart from violative of the provisions of A.P.

State and Subordinate Service Rules/Special Rules, governing the eligibility to compete for the post of Agricultural Officers and consequentialoly set aside the same so far it relates to prescription of upper age limit is concerned and setaside the order in order in O.A.No.8932 of 2002 dated 28.08.2003 of A.P.A.T. and pass such other order or orders ....."

At the hearing, Sri K.R. Prabhakar, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In the light of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, WPMP.Nos.4214 and 4215 of 2004 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
