THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE N.V. SHRAVAN KUMAR W.P. No.4938 of 2014 ORDER:

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not appointing the petitioner to the post of Sub Engineer by way of appointment by transfer though he possess B.Tech Degree as was done earlier in the cases of other employees of the respondent Corporation as illegal and arbitrary and further direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Sub Engineer.

This Court on 20.02.2014 while ordering Rule Nisi, ordered notice in WPMP. No.6121 of 2014. On 24.04.2014 in WPMP. No.6121 of 2014 this Court passed the following interim order: "In tune with the interim directions given on 14.11.2008 in W.P. M.P. No.32782 of 2008 in W.P. No.25112 of 2008, there shall be an interim direction, pending further orders, to the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's representations dated 18.04.2013, 01.08.2013 and 31.08.2013 and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible."

Today, when the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submits in view of the said interim order, respondent authorities have considered the said

NVSK, J W.P. No.4938 of 2014 representations and orders were passed and therefore, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed as no further orders are required to be passed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
