2. Petitioner seeks change of land use from agriculture to non-agriculture in respect of land in survey No.281/3 admeasuring Ac.0-22 guntas and survey No.281/7 admeasuring Ac.0-08 guntas situated at Gummuduru Vilalge, Mahabubabad Mandal, Warangal District. Petitioner made an application for the aforesaid purpose on 04.04.2015, on which it appears that a report was called for as per the guidelines in G.O.Ms.No.1537 Revenue (Land Revenue) Department, dated 19.10.2006. Petitioner has also paid the requisite fee online. Alleging that no further action is being taken on the said application, the present writ petition is filed.

3. It is evident from the petitioner's averments that appropriate report in terms of the guidelines has already been called for and it is now for the competent authority i.e., the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider petitioner's request, in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders.

4. Since petitioner's application is pending for more than two months, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider the petitioner's application on merits and pass appropriate orders preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
