Perusal of the cause title in the writ petition reflects that it was filed in the name of a dead person who is stated to be represented by a General Power of Attorney Holder. The GPA seems to have been executed by one legal representative of the deceased writ petitioner. A writ petition cannot be filed in the name of a dead person. On this short ground, the writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to the party aggrieved to file a fresh case in a proper form, if so advised. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
