HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9892 of 2015 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under sections 437 & 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is filed by the petitioner-Accused No.2 seeking to grant bail in connection with crime No.37 of 2015-16 on the file of Excise Police Station, Paderu, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20-B(ii) read with H.C. of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioner is that he was found in possession of 180 kgs., of ganja.

Since the ganja recovered from the possession of the petitioner is 180 kgs., which is more than the commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J Date: 30.09.2015 KTL
