THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.31356 of 2015 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not generating or allotting liquor shop outlet in Medaram District, to the Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and issue consequently directions, directing the respondents to generate liquor shop outlet in Medaram Mandal, Warangal District, in allotting the same to the petitioner against the quota earmarked for ST community following the in the year 2015-17 as well as G.O.Ms.No.216 Revenue [Excise-II] Department dated 22.06.2015 in Agency Area."
Heard Sri S.V. Indira, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise for respondents, apart from perusing the material available before this Court.
During the course of hearing it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner herein that for redressal of the grievance the petitioner herein submitted a representation, dated 04-09-2015 before the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Hyderabad and the same may be directed to be disposed of by the authorities, as per law.
In view of the above submission and having regard to the nature of controversy, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent - Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Excise Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad to pass appropriate orders on the
representation, dated 04-09-2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. There shall be no order as to costs. ___________________ A.V.
