HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35634 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondents 2 and 3 in registering the Crime No.224 of 2016, on the file of the Parigi Police Station in Vikarabad District, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent filed a complaint against the petitioner alleging that she is Sarpanch of Sulthanpur Village. The Mandal Officer, EORD and Gram Panchayat Secretary came to her house along with the petitioner and his wife (MPTC Member) on some official work and that after the officials left her house, the petitioner attacked her and abused her in the name of her caste.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, respondents 2 & 3 are directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.224 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) months from today. The petitioner is directed to appear before respondents 2 & 3 as and when required for the purpose of investigation.
