ORDER

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare appearing for respondents 1 to 5.

The petitioner is an Anganwadi Worker working at Arikeri Centre 3, Hathibelagal Village, Aluru Mandal, Kurnool District. She was appointed as Anganwadi Worker in 2006. She is the resident of Hathibelagal Village. While so, due to voluntary retirement of one J.Chittemma, vacancy arose at Hathibelagal Village. Hence, she made a representation dated 05-09-2015 to the respondents to consider her request for transfer to Hathibelagal Village Centre-II. She submits that as per G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 07-01-2009, her case has to be considered for transfer to Hathibelagal Village on priority basis. However, in the meanwhile, the respondents issued a Notification dated 04-10-2015 to fill up the post of Anganwadi Worker in Hathibelagal Village.

Under these circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer as requested in her representation dated 5-9-2015 to Hathibelagal Village in terms of G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 07-01-2009, prior to filling the post of Anganwadi Worker pursuant to the Notification dated 04-10-2015 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
