Heard.

This Court, by order dated 27.09.2016 in W.P.M.P.No.23143 of in W.P.No.17905 of 2015, directed the Deputy Commissioner, Endowments Department, Kurnool District, to consider the recommendation/proposal, dated 07.02.2015, of the Executive Officer of the 4th respondent - Temple in the Writ Petition with regard to promotion of the petitioner to the post of Junior Assistant from the cadre of Record Assistant in respect of Sri Madhava and Anjaneya Swamy Devasthanam, Mamidalapadu Village, Kurnool District, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Alleging violation of the said direction, this Contempt Case is filed.

Along with the counter affidavit, proceedings, dated 09.01.2017, of the Deputy Commissioner, Endowments Department, Kurnool District, are enclosed.

A bare perusal of the said proceedings would show that based on the proposal submitted by the Executive Officer of the 4th respondent - Temple in the Writ Petition, the request of the petitioner for promotion was rejected. In view of the same, it cannot be said that the respondent has violated the direction issued by this Court.

The Contempt Case is accordingly closed.
