This writ petition was instituted against the erstwhile State of Andhra Pradesh. Upon passing of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014, the petitioner had to implead the State of Telangana in the place of the State of Andhra Pradesh. In fact, time was granted on 13.02.2015 to the learned counsel for the petitioner to take suitable steps in this regard. However, as no such steps were taken, this Court passed an order on 27.02.2015 adjourning the matter finally to 13.03.2015 with the default clause that failure to take steps for amendment of the cause title would entail summary dismissal of the writ petition. Despite this order, no steps have been taken till date. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Interim order dated 04.04.2012 shall stand vacated.
