THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE J. UMA DEVI WRIT PETITION No. 6662 of 2017 ORDER: (Per VRS,J) The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition, challenging an order fastening liability of service tax on a licence fee paid by them to the State Government.

Heard Mr. M. Bala Subrahmanyam, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. B. Narasimha Sarma, learned senior standing counsel for Central Excise, Customs and Service Tax. 3.

The issue raised in this writ petition is covered by an order passed by another Division Bench of this Court on 01.02.2017 in W.P.No.41626 of 2016. Therefore, following the same, this Writ Petition is also disposed of, directing the respondents not to take any coercive action against the petitioner either for not registering themselves under the Finance Act or for non-payment of service tax, till an assessment order is passed, in accordance with law, and for a period of three (3) weeks after the said order is communicated to the petitioner.
