This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not releasing the EMD and FSD amount of Rs.4,50,170/- along with interest to the petitioner with regard to the contract work of laying of CC Road and other works in the premises of MPCC building State Gallery of Art, Madhapur, Hyderabad, vide Agreement Bond No.135/SE/APTDC/Agmt./2013-14, dt.31.12.2013. Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner made an application on 01.07.2017 for release of EMD and FSD amount as they have completed the work in all respects; that having satisfied with the completion of work by the petitioner, the respondent authorities are not releasing the EMD and FSD amounts. Heard learned Standing Counsel for respondents 2 and 3. Since the application of the petitioner dt.01.07.

2017 is pending before the competent authority, it is for the competent authority to consider the same in accordance with law and take action. In view of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dt.01.07.2017, in accordance with law and take action within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
