HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO W.P.No.29356 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner is a Lineman in the office of the 2nd respondent. Disciplinary enquiry was held against him on certain charges and ultimately, punishment of stoppage of two annual increments with cumulative effect was imposed on him. Aggrieved thereby, he preferred an appeal dated 27.05.2015 before the second respondent and the same is pending. Seeking expeditious disposal of the said appeal, the present writ petition has been filed.

In that view of the matter, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
