HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2142 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A6 to A9 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.276 of 2012 on the file of Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Bobbili, Vizianagaram, registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 323, 506 (ii), 307, 420, 417, 341 r/w 34 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 25.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Bobbili Town Police Station, Vizianagaram District and submitted that after completion of investigation, the crime was referred as 'FALSE', through proceedings of the Sub Divisional Police Officer, Bobbili, vide C.No.173/Ref/SDPO/BBL/2011, dated 19.05.2011 and the final report was filed before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bobbili and therefore, the subject matter of the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.276 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
