The case of the petitioner is that his father while working as driver in the respondent Corporation, died; and that after his death the petitioner approached the respondent Corporation seeking compassionate appointment and also submitted representations dated 05.03.2013 and 19.02.2018. As no orders are passed on the said representations, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P.Durga Prasad, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Corporation. Since the grievance of the petitioner is pending before the competent authority, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2018, in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
