THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN CONTEMPT CASE NO.1387 OF 2014 ORDER:

The order, violation of which is alleged in this Contempt Case, is the order passed in WP.No.12046 of 2013 dated 22.04.2013 whereby the petitioner was permitted to submit an application in the prescribed form within two weeks, and the third respondent was directed to consider the same within two months thereafter.

A counter affidavit is filed by the Tahsildar stating that he had passed an order in compliance with the order of this Court on 16.09.2014. While there has been a delay in complying with the order of this Court, the respondent has expressed her regret, and has tendered unconditional apology. I see no reason, therefore, to proceed against the respondent under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
