THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.12385 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the petitioner herein prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents, especially 2nd respondent in not paying the rice component worth Rs.4.75 lakhs or cash/amount pertaining to work worth Rs.9.5 lakhs, i.e., laying of three Contempt Case road in Panduvaripeta and Adivivaripeta hamlets T. Kothapalli of I Polavaram Mandal and CC Road in Annampalli Village, Mummimidvaram Mandal, East Godavari District, vide proceedings of the 2nd respondent, Roc.No.1820/20005/A9, dated 08.02.2007, is illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 and the Rules made there under etc., and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to pay the rice component worth of Rs.4.75 lakhs or cash expeditiously."

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner submitted a representation, dated 22.05.2015 to respondent No.2 but no action has been taken thereon. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders on the said representation within stipulated time.

Having regard to the said submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is

AVSS, J W.P.No.12385 of 2017 disposed of, directing respondent No.2 to pass orders on the representation, dated 22.05.2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs. _________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J 10th APRIL, 2017.
