ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed by the Municipal Corporation of Nizamabad, feeling aggrieved by order dated 11-2-2011 in O.A.No.9661 of 2008 on the file of the A.P. Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad. A perusal of the record shows that the impugned order was passed by the Tribunal about 61⁄2 years back. The only reason assigned by the petitioner for the enormous delay in filing the Writ Petition is that the two earlier Standing Counsel were requested to file the Writ Petition and that as they have not filed the same, the petitioner has now got the Writ Petition filed through the present Standing Counsel. The affidavit is silent as to the dates or at least the approximate time during which the Standing Counsel were requested to file the Writ Petition. In the absence of proper pleadings explaining the inordinate delay in filing the Writ Petition, we are not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition at this length of time. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed only on the ground of laches.
