K. Balanagaiah, v. The Managing Director,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.24175 OF 2000 ORDER:
Heard Smt.Rachna Kumari, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Cooperation.
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in any suitable post. Such a relief of granting compassionate appointment after 17 years would not arise. The fact that the petitioner could survive in the difficult tenure of losing the bread-winner for 17 long years, itself is a good ground to dismiss the Writ Petition, and no direction can be issued at this point of time to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as it is devoid of merits. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed. _________________________________ (ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J) 22nd November 2017 RRB
