When the matter is called, it is submitted by Sri G.Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for the 5th respondent that the proposal for laying the road is dropped by the respondents. As such, cause of action does not survive.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
