Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government pleader for Revenue (TG).

Aggrieved by the order of the Tahsildar, Sujathanagar, dated 03.03.2018 made under Section 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Encroachment Act, 1905, petitioners preferred appeals before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kothagudem and the said appeals are pending. In the pending appeals petitioners also filed applications to grant stay of eviction. Alleging inaction on the said applications and that petitioners are sought to be dispossessed, this writ petition is filed.

Since the appeal as well as stay applications are pending before the appellate authority, the Court is not expressing any opinion on merits and the Writ Petitions are disposed of with the consent of learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider the stay applications as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Till the stay applications are disposed of, status-quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained. 4.
With the above directions, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
