THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.12482 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not taking care of the Wakf land, more importantly the graveyard, situated at Maktha in Somajiguda area and not notifying the said land as Wakf land, as arbitrary and illegal. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner had contended that the petitioner has submitted a representation on 02.02.2019 requesting the respondents to include the graveyard as a Wakf land by way of an corrigendum to the notification, which was issued in 1994. But, so far, the respondents have not considered the case of the petitioner. Learned counsel, therefore, contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 02.02.2019. 3.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents had contended that since the representation submitted by the petitioner is pending with the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent would consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law. 4.

This Court, having considering the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation, dated 02.02.2019, of the petitioner and

pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 10th February 2020 mar
