ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondent in withholding an amount of Rs.7 lakhs by way of term deposit dated 25.02.2016 vide A/c.No.334240500349055, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and perused the material on record. Even after service of notice, none appeared on behalf of respondent-Bank.

Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has submitted representation dated 11.01.2016 to the respondent, no orders thereon have been passed. He prays to direct the respondent to dispose of the said representation. 4.
In view of the submission of learned counsel for petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the representation of petitioner dated 11.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. ______________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO 24th October, 2016 sj
