HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3354 of 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.127 of 2019 of Golkonda Police Station, Hyderabad City, registered against the petitioners/ A.1 to A.4 for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323 read with 34 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Though the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.4 filed the present petition to quash the proceedings in Crime No.127 of 2019, he restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the Investigating agency to follow the procedure prescribed under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines prescribed by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. St at e of Bihar and anot her 1.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor fairly concedes the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners. 4.

In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the provisions under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and abide by the directions of the Apex Court as set out in Arnesh Kumar's case (supra).

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
