This petition is filed by the petitioner, who is the accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.452 of 2012 on the file of the court of Special Magistrate at Erramanzil, Hyderabad. The offences alleged are under Section 138 of NI Act. 2.

The court of XXIII Special Magistrate, Hyderabad, addressed a letter to the Registry, dated 22.11.2018, stating that the impugned CC was dismissed for default and hence, no cause survives in this petition.

In view of the aforestated letter, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Interim stay granted by this court on 10.04.2013 in this petition shall stand vacated. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
