Sri N. Krishna Sumanth, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the cause in this writ petition no longer survives for consideration on merits as the petitioner's appeal has already been rejected.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
