THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.21823 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

2. The petitioner states that he belongs to B.C 'D' community. His father was selected and appointed as a Driver in the erstwhile APSRTC in the year 1980 and he was posted in Achampet Bus Depot. He expired on 07.09.2002 while he was in service. He further states that his mother submitted a representation on 01.05.2003 seeking appointment under bread winner scheme. The petitioner passed 8th class and possesses heavy driving licence. He claims that he is eligible and qualified to hold the post of Driver. He further states that his case was not considered for some time due to ban on recruitment. However, when a notification dated 10.02.2015 was issued for considering the cases of the employees who died from 01.01.1998 to 04.01.2013, he submitted representations seeking consideration of his case. In pursuance of the said request, a call letter was issued to him on 17.08.2015 and he was asked to appear for interview on 25.08.2015. He appeared before the second respondent and was waiting for the appointment orders, and when no orders were issued, he filed the present writ petition.

After issuing notice before admission and taking up this matter after four weeks, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that no orders have been passed pursuant to the interview held on 25.08.2015 and the respondents would pass appropriate orders if some time is given to them.

4. In the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the second respondent to pass orders pursuant to the interview held on 25.08.2015, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a

copy of this date.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
