M/S Varasiddhi Associates v. Transmission Corporation Of Telangana Limited (Transco)
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P.No.12500 of 2019
ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in erecting the tower (T.21) and drawing the high tension power lines over the petitioner's land in Sy.No.197 without complying the provisions of the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 and not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 25.04.2019, as illegal and arbitrary.
2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he made a representation to the respondents on 25.04.2019 requesting to stop construction of tower in his land, no orders have been passed. 4.
In view of the limited grievance of the petitioner, it would be appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 25.04.2019 of the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, status-quo existing as on today shall be maintained by the parties.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
6.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
