This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in terminating the agreement w.e.f.

01-10-2016 without considering the representation of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Heard Mr.CH Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for APSPDCL. 3.

The petitioner is a Private Accounting Agency of APSPDCL. As per the terms and conditions of the agreement, Private Accounting Agency expired on 30-09-2016, where as the spot billing work is continuing up to 31-03-2017. The petitioner submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent on 12-09-2016 with a request to continue Private Accounting Agency system till 31-03-2017. For one reason or the other, the 2nd respondent has not disposed of the representation of the petitioner.

At the time of arguments, the only relief sought for by the learned counsel for petitioner is to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 12-09-2016 as early as possible. Learned standing counsel also consented for the same.

In view of submission made by both counsel, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case. 6.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also submissions made by both counsel, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 12-09-2016 in accordance with law as

expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
