THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.34200 OF 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to declare the action of the second respondent, in not registering the vehicle bearing No.DL13CA5683, in spite of pending representation, dated 23.08.2017, as illegal and arbitrary.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Transport.
When the matter is taken up, a letter, bearing Lr.No.373/A1/2017, dated 12.10.2017, addressed by the District Transport Officer (FAC), Karimnagar to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Transport, is placed on record. The said letter reads as under:
"I invite kind attention to the subject and reference cited and inform that Sri G.Keshava Reddy, S/o Sri Raji Reddy, R/o Karimnagar has sent his vehicle original documents of Vehicle No.DL13CA5683 by post received in this office on 23.08.2017.
Further it is informed that this office has addressed a letter to Sri G.Keshava Reddy, S/o Sri Raji Reddy, R/o Karimnagar stating that he has to approach to this office on any working day personally after booking the slot for Transfer of Ownership at E-Seva or Mee Seva Centre and physical inspection of the vehicle for capturing his photograph, digital signature and thumb impression in the computer system.
In this connection it is submitted that he failed to approach to this office for the above purpose and straightaway filed the Writ Petition in the Hon'ble High Court of Telangana, Hyderabad.

The contents of the above letter are placed on record and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
