This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri G. Suresh Goud, Advocate for the Petitioners and the Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent. The Court made the following: ORDER I
THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION NO.4872 0F 2021 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A- 1 to A-3 and A-5 seeking to reduce the surety amount from Rs.10,000/- with two sureties to Rs.5,000/- with one surety, as per the docket order dated 07.O5.2O21 in Crime No.308 of 2O2O (P.S. Ramakrishnapur) passed by the learned I Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Mancherial, Adilabad District, while granting bail to them under Section 167 (21 Cr.P.C. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are unable to deposit the surety amount due to their poor financial capacity, and thus, he prays to reduce the surety amount as directed by the Court below.
In view of the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the application, the surety amount granted by the Court below in Crime No.308 of 2O2O on the file of P.S. Ramakrishnapur, is reduced from Rs. 1O,O0O/- to Rs.7,000/- with two sureties for the like sum each.. The other conditions imposed by the Court below shall remain unaltered.
