This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus questioning the Resolution No.68, dated 21.12.2014 passed by the General Body of Mandal Praja Parishad, Ponduru, Srikakulam District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to set aside the same.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj.

Learned counsel for the petitioner sought to avail alternative remedy against the impugned Resolution No.68, dated 21.12.2014 passed by the General Body of Mandal Praja Parishad, Ponduru, Srikakulam District. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of. However, it is open for the petitioner to avail alternative remedy against the impugned resolution. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
