Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for revenue for respondent No.1 and Sri Y.Rama Rao, learned Standing counsel for respondent No.2. 2.
Petitioners claim to have purchased house plots in Gram Panchayat lay out in Sy.Nos.61, 62, 64, 65, 68/1, 68/2, 69, 69/1, 70, 70/1, 71, 72, 72/1, 73, 76, 77, 85, 85/1, 86, 94, 120, 121, 122 to 126 of Puppalaguda Village, Rajendranagar mandal, Ranga Reddy District. Petitioners claim to have applied for regularization of their house plots in accordance with the scheme formulated by the Government under Telangana Regularization of Unapproved and Illegal Layout Rules, 2015. Alleging inaction on the said applications, this writ petition is filed.

The Ex.P.8 document would show that the applications filed by petitioners are pending and they are kept on hold and no reasons are assigned as to why the applications of petitioners for regularization are kept pending and kept on hold. 4.
Since the applications are stated to be seen and kept on hold, without expressing any opinion on merits the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to process the applications filed by petitioners and if the claim of the petitioners for regularization cannot be approved, assign reasons in support of the decision and communicate the same to the petitioners. If petitioners fulfill all the requirements for regularization and are
eligible for regularization, appropriate steps shall be taken as expeditiously as possible. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
