HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35591 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed seeking to call for the records relating to FIR No.205 of 2016, on the file of the 1st respondent police station. Heard and perused the material available on record. The main grievance of the petitioner is that A-1 sold the plot to an extent of Ac. 0.04 cents in favour of the 3rd respondent on 16.02.2015 under registered Sale Deed for a consideration of Rs.3,88,000/- and the petitioner is only a witness in the said sale deed and he is nothing to do with the contents of the sale deed and the petitioner is apprehending arrest by the respondent police. Considering the grievance of the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed to complete the investigation in FIR No.205 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioner.
