ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.5/RCA-ATP/2014 on the file of ACB Police Station, Ananthapur District, registered against the petitioner for the offence punishable under Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(e) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, on various grounds. 2.

The Special Public Prosecutor for ACB, A.P., submitted that the criminal petition has become infructuous as the entire investigation in the above crime was completed and charge sheet was filed before the competent Court and the same was registered as C.C.No.20 of 2017 on the file of Special Judge for Trial of ACB Cases in Rayalaseema Region, Kurnool.

Recording the aforesaid submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the proceedings in C.C.No.20 of 2017 on the file of Special Judge for Trial of ACB Cases in Rayalaseema Region, Kurnool. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand dismissed.
