Ava Rangaiah, v. The State Of Telangana,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM I.A.No. 2 of 2019 AND CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3369 OF 2019 O R D E R:
The Criminal Petition was filed to quash FIR No. 340 of 2019 on the file of Shadnagar Police Station, Cyberabad registered for the offence punishable under Section 324 read with Section 3(1)(r)(s) of the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Admittedly, the crime is under investigation, however, I.A.No. 2 of 2019 has been taken out to permit the parties to compound the offences and to quash the proceedings. As can be seen from the complaint, the complainant as well as the accused belong to the same village and both do agriculture for their livelihood. Learned counsel for both the parties submit that on the advice of the elders, the complainant had decided not to press the case as they had to live in the village together amicably. Inasmuch as compromise has been arrived at between the parties and the complainant himself does not wish to press the complaint, and for that purpose, I.A.No. 2 of 2019 has also been taken out, the same is allowed and the First Information Report is accordingly, quashed in the facts and circumstances of the case. The Criminal Petition is therefore, closed, duly obtaining signatures of the parties agreeing for the compromise. _____________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J 28th June 2019 ksld
