HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CONTEMPT CASE No.1866 OF 2016 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed with a prayer to punish the respondents under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful violation and disobedience of order, dated 06.12.2013, passed by this Court in WP No.35210 of 2013.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Endowments submitted that the constructions are there in the subject land even prior to filing of the writ petition, that no further constructions are made after filing of the writ petition and that the respondents will inspect the subject land and if they found any new constructions, they will take appropriate steps to prevent the same. In view of the above, the Contempt Case is closed. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
