THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.14220 OF 2011 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more especially one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent-authorities in contemplating to demolish the structures of the petitioners under the guise of proposed 100' wide road instead of 80' wide road, which is contrary to the road development plan of 4/87/Karimnagar, is bad, illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondent authorities not to demolish the structures of the petitioners contrary to the road development plan of 4/87/Karimnagar under the guise of proposed 100' wide road in the interest of justice."

It is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioners that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Government issued G.O.Ms.No.585, dated 29.12.2011, and the same was challenged by way of filing W.P.No.1372 of 2012 and this Court also granted status quo in that matter.

In view of the same, the cause in this writ petition does not survive and hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
