Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioner claims to be the owner and possessor of land to an extent of Ac.40.35 guntas in Survey Nos.703, 705 and 710 of Malkapur Village, Choutuppal Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvangiri District. The status of the land, according to petitioner, is agricultural land. Petitioner intends to develop the land for non-agricultural purpose. Therefore, she made application on 06.07.2016 seeking conversion of her land to non-agricultural purpose under the provisions of Rule 3(i) of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion For Non-Agricultural Purposes) Rules, 2006 (for short, 'the Rules') by paying requisite amount. However, so far no decision is made by the authorities concerned, causing hardship and suffering to the petitioner. 3.

Having regard to the facts, as noted above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Choutuppal Revenue Division, Yadadri Bhuvangiri District, the 3rd respondent, to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in her application and pass appropriate orders in accordance with the Rules and communicate the decision to her within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
