Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioners claim that they are in occupation of Government land to an extent of 150 sq. yards in Survey No.222/2 of Nambur Village, Peddakakani Mandal, Guntur District. To avail the benefit of scheme of regularization of illegal occupation of Government land notified vide G.O.Ms.No.388, dated 24.08.2017, petitioners filed applications. Receipts generated from Andhra Pradesh Online Web Port are enclosed as annexure P3. It appears, these applications were made on 13.10.2017.

According to petitioners, they were in possession as on 01.01.2014 by constructing dwelling units and regularization made within the time granted by the G.O. However, so far no decision is made by the respondent authorities.

Taking note of the above facts, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Guntur Revenue Division, Guntur District, the 1st respondent, to examine the claim of the petitioners strictly in accordance with the policy of the Government as notified vide G.O.Ms.No.388, dated 24.08.2017, and/or any other policy or administrative decision and take appropriate decision and communicate the same to the petitioners as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
