When this matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioners in spite of the fact that the writ petition is listed under the caption for dismissal.

Perusal of the material on record discloses that the petitioner filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners also in the interview to be held on 16.2.2004 for the post of Sweeper-cum-messenger, along with other candidates sponsored by the Employment Exchange, without insisting that the petitioners' names be sponsored by the employment exchange. On 13.2.2004, this Court granted interim direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioners also in the interview. 3.

In view of the said interlocutory order passed by this Court, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
