This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused No.4 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.16 of 2018 of Yacharam Police Station, Rachakonda.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused No.4, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

On written instructions, dated 27.03.2019, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in the subject crime, investigation is completed, charge sheet is filed and XXII Metropolitan Magistrate, Ibrahimpatnam, has taken cognizance of the case in C.C.No.359 of 2018.

In the course of submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused No.4 wanted this Court to dispose of this application on merits.

Since the charge sheet is filed in the subject crime and as there are allegations constituting cognizable offences to register F.I.R, there is no merit in this petition.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
