The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the 4th respondent in not providing police protection to the petitioner for implementation of permanent injunction decree, dated 06.04.2001, in O.S.No.232 of 2000, on the file of the Court of Junior Civil Judge, Kodad, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law.

Heard Sri V.Jagapathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents 1 to 5. Respondents 6 & 7 entered appearance through Sri Rapolu Bhaskar, learned counsel, but today when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of respondents 6 & 7. 3.

This Court by its order in I.A.No.1 of 2019, dated 25.06.2019, directed respondents 2 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.05.2019, for providing police protection to her for implementation of permanent injunction decree, dated 06.04.2001, in O.S.No.232 of 2000, on the file of the Court of Junior Civil Judge, Kodad, in the light of the interim stay order, dated 16.04.2019, passed by this Court in I.A.No.1 of 2019 in W.P.No.7643 of 2019.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the above said interim order passed by this Court in I.A.No.1 of 2019 in the present writ petition, police protection has been extended and the permanent injunction decree, dated 06.04.2001, in O.S.No.232 of 2000 has been implemented, and in the course of implementation, the respondent authorities have registered a case against respondents 6 & 7, who are stated to be obstructing the implementation of the permanent injunction decree, vide Crime No.1 of 2020.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that since the relief sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition with regard to extending of police protection to the petitioner for implementation of permanent injunction decree, dated 06.04.2001, in O.S.No.232 of 2000, is complied with, no further orders need be passed in the writ petition. 6.

Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is closed. However, since a case has been registered by the police authorities against respondents 6 & 7, who are stated to be obstructing the implementation of the permanent injunction decree, the respondent authorities shall proceed with the investigation into the above said crime, in accordance with law.
