Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that 4th respondent suppressed facts and obtained assignment patta from 2nd respondent and that an enquiry was conducted through 3rd respondent by 2nd respondent and 2nd respondent has also come to the conclusion that assignment patta was obtained by 4th respondent fraudulently. 3.

The Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy District is suo motu impleaded as 5th respondent in the Writ Petition since it is stated by the learned Government Pleader for Revenue that he is the competent authority to cancel the assignment patta granted to 4th respondent, in the event it is obtained by suppression of facts by 4th respondent. 4.

In this view of the matter, since the competent authority to take appropriate action is the Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy District, he is directed to issue notice to 4th respondent, supply him a copy of the proceedings dt.12-09-2016 of 3rd respondent, which was submitted to 2nd respondent, invite his explanation and after giving notice to the petitioner, pass appropriate orders within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
