THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.1867 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitionersA3 and A6 to A8 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.2 of 2014 on the file of the Station House Officer, Neredmet Police Station, Cyberabad District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the investigation agency had completed the investigation and filed charge-sheet before the Court concerned and the same was numbered as C.C.No.200 of 2014. In that view of the matter, the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for adjudication. However, the petitioners-A3 and A6 to A8 are given liberty to work out appropriate remedies before appropriate forum, in accordance with law, if they choose to do so. 3.
